Obsah:

Režisér Roland Emmerich uspel predovšetkým s filmami s veľkými rozpočtami. Mamutích rozmerov je aj tento jeho prehistorický film. Príbeh sa
sústredí na etapy vývoja 21-ročného lovca mamutov. So svojimi spolubojovníkmi putuje cez neznáme územia. Na tejto nebezpečnej ceste plnej nástrah musia zvádzať neľútostné boje o
prežitie. Stretnutia s obrími šelmami, šablozubými tigrami a
démonickými pštrosmi sú na dennom poriadku, ale prvoradou úlohou je zabezpečiť prežitie svojho kmeňa a uloviť mamuta.
